The new-look Skills@Work Newsletter has been redesigned with a fresh style, and focuses on sharing news from around Australia that is relevant to businesses, employers, students, career advisors and carers. Each month it will feature a mixture of news, articles, announcements and case studies on Australian VET Alumni members.
The Skills@Work Newsletter will be published on the third Monday of each month. You can read the July 2018 edition of Skills@Work Newsletter here.
The Skills@Work: News in Review also has been reinvigorated, and will continue to feature the news in review, upcoming events and the “Get to Know Your Australian VET Alumni” segment.
Skills@Work: News in Review will be published on the first working Monday of each month, and articles submitted by stakeholders will also be uploaded to My Skills.
The department is always looking for news and events from all stakeholders to include in Skills@Work, so please send anything of interest through to the Skills@Work inbox.
The redesigned Skills@Work Newsletter / Skills@Work: The News in Review is an important component of real skills for real careers, which was launched by the Assistant Minister for Vocational Education and Skills, the Hon Karen Andrews MP at the Australian Training Awards on 23 November 2017.
Real skills for real careers is helping to raise the status of VET through increasing the amount of information available to prospective VET consumers, industry and the sector more broadly, and shares the success stories of real people with real careers achieved through VET.
If you have any questions, suggestions or comments about Skills@Work or would like to know more about real skills for real careers, please email the skills@work inbox.
