Freedom of information

Reforms to the Freedom of Information Act 1982 [Cwlth] (the FOI Act) introduced fundamental changes to the way information held by Commonwealth agencies is managed and accessed by members of the public. The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) has published an FOI fact sheet which describes the changes the reforms have made to the Commonwealth Freedom of Information framework.  Please visit the OAIC website for further information.
