Description

This qualification is suitable for people who apply advanced practical knowledge to coordinate, facilitate and maintain the Work Health and Safety (WHS) program in one or more fields of work in an organisation, such as a WHS practitioner or HR practitioner. They may work under the guidance of an occupational health and safety professional.

VET Student Loans

This course is eligible for a VET Student Loan from the Australian Government to assist students with paying tuition fees. The maximum amount that can be loaned for this course is $10,528.

The initial debt amount (including the loan fee, if applicable) plus indexation must be paid back once the loan recipient starts earning over a certain amount. The compulsory repayment threshold for the 2019-20 income year is $45,881.

Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.
