Australian Vocational Learning Centre (AVLC) was established in 2009

CEO and owner of AVLC, Neil Chapple, identified a niche in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) marketplace for a quality college that teaches recognised and current skills and knowledge while applying ethical business principles.

AVLC’s team of very experienced and talented teachers, combined with its leading edge educational resources, make AVLC a college of choice and a centre of excellence within the VET sector. Our students gain skills and knowledge to call on in work and throughout their lives.

AVLC is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) registered by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). AVLC offers:

  • A modern, well-equipped facility extending over nearly two floors with student cafeteria
  • An extensive range of up to date textbooks, reference books and educational support materials
  • A large computer capability for student research and writing equipped with computers, software and internet access

 
Supporting the educational experience of students is the efficient and student-focused AVLC student administration team who:

  • Manage the AVLC online student services system that enables students to update their own details, access results and have communication with teachers and support staff
  • Fully answer all enquiries from future and current students
  • Record course progress and retain all records to comply with ASQA and DIBP requirements
  • Issue certificates and arrange graduations

 
AVLC is located a very short walk from Parramatta railway and bus stations, Westfield shopping centre and the business services of the Parramatta CBD. The DIBP office is located across the street from AVLC.

This Training Organisation provides:

  • Delivery and assessment services
  • Courses of study through Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships.
  • Recognition for prior learning.

Delivery Options

This training provider offers courses in the following delivery modes:

Face to face training

In-person training delivered at the RTO's site. Also known as 'on-campus', 'in-class', 'traditional face-to-face', 'on-RTO-site' delivery.

Flexible learning

Includes online courses and courses by correspondence. Also known as 'external studies'.

Facilities

AVLC has modern classrooms available on both Level 2 and Level 7 at the Parramatta campus.

Financial Assistance

The federal, state and territory governments provide financial incentives and support for vocational education and training students to help them gain the skills required to secure and maintain rewarding and sustainable employment.

There are programs for all kinds of students; apprentices and trainees, new job starters, those re-entering the workforce, retraining for a new job or upgrading their skills for an existing job.

Subsidised Training

State and territory governments dedicate funds to reduce or, in some cases, fully cover tuition fees for VET students who wish to study certain courses.
Unfortunately, this Training Provider does not currently deliver any subsidised training.

VET Student Loans

This RTO does not currently offer VET Student Loans for any approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. The amount for the 2017-2018 income year is $55,874.
