Services

Tocal courses are renowned Australia-wide for practical training, development of industry-relevant skills and experience in general agriculture, beef cattle, dairying, rural business management, sheep production, cropping and conservation and land management.

Tocal College prides itself on offering the most current training available and so responds to industry changes as quickly as possible.

The AHC - Agriculture, Horticulture and Conservation and Land Management Training Package was released in 2016 and Tocal reviewed all training courses and adopted this Training Package, offering updated qualifications to full time students and trainees from 2017.

The general agriculture course when successfully completed will result in the award of the AHC30116 Certificate III in Agriculture qualification. It will be referred to by Tocal as the Agricultural Production program to distinguish it from Tocal’s equine program, described below.

The equine training course when successfully completed will result in the award of the ACM30817 Certificate III in Performance Horse qualification. It will be referred to by Tocal as the Stock Horse Training and Breeding program to distinguish it from Tocal’s general agriculture program, described above.

AHC40116 Certificate IV in Agriculture  training program offers students with previous agricultural experience or qualification opportunities to study rural industries in more depth.

All three Tocal programs are clearly described in the Student Handbook on the website.
