Established in 2004, Health & Safety Advisory Service is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), committed to providing excellence in all WHS training and consultancy services. Our highly skilled professional team draws upon wide ranging industry experience with specific expertise in training development, design and delivery. 

We provide high quality WHS training, high risk national training and assessment programs, together with tailored WHS consultancy services.   All programs are customised to reflect the specific needs of industry/organisations and align to current WHS legislation and regulatory requirements.

Health & Safety Advisory Service also draws on specific expertise in managing training for government funded infrastructure projects, including tunnelling, telecommunications, road, airport and rail.

This Training Organisation provides:

  • Delivery and assessment services
  • Courses of study through Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships.
  • Recognition for prior learning.

How do I choose?

Delivery Options

This training provider offers courses in the following delivery modes:

Face to face training

In-person training delivered at the RTO's site. Also known as 'on-campus', 'in-class', 'traditional face-to-face', 'on-RTO-site' delivery.

Offsite training

The RTO can deliver in-person training using facilities at-or-near a client's workplace, or else in a mobile manner (eg. delivery at a regional/remote location for a specific period or for a specific training course). Also known as 'workplace', 'mobile', 'on-client-site' delivery.

Flexible learning

Includes courses by correspondence. Also known as 'external studies'.

  • Online (training available online or via email submission)
  • Distance (training available via correspondence)
  • Attendance required (training includes some fixed-time online lectures or fixed time class components)
  • Fixed submission dates (assessment pieces have set submission dates)
  • Self-paced (training has no set class times of set submission dates)

Mixed mode training

A combination of various delivery modes. Also known as 'mixed delivery'.

Facilities

Our specialised training centres (HSAS Campus 1 and 2) are located in Emu Plains, Western Sydney and are fully equipped to deliver a range of training and assessment programs in conjunction with key industry partners. We are well positioned to cater to the increasing WHS & practical training needs of the construction and infrastructure work sectors.

Financial Assistance

The federal, state and territory governments provide financial incentives and support for vocational education and training students to help them gain the skills required to secure and maintain rewarding and sustainable employment.

Subsidised Training

State and Territory governments dedicate funds to reduce or, in some cases, fully cover tuition fees for VET students. This Training Provider is approved to deliver subsidised training in the following highlighted states and territories. VET Student Loans

This RTO does not currently offer VET Student Loans for any approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. Compulsory repayment threshold information is available on the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) website.
