Aurecon Australasia is an award winning specialist Electrical Supply Industry (ESI) Registered Training Organisation (RTO). We have over 50 years’ experience in the analysis, design, development and delivery of accredited and non-accredited training and assessment programs. Aurecon is nationally registered and operates in all Australia states and territories delivering services to a range of industries including energy, mining, resources, infrastructure, engineering and transport.

 

We have proven ourselves as being quick to update our registration to new versions of training packages. In addition we are able to align units of competency to job requirements so students can enrol in a range of job related units rather than full qualifications.  Aurecon regularly designs and develops assessment tools and accredited short course or skills sets using units of competency of any of the qualifications we have on scope to meet client specific requirements.

 

We immerse ourselves in client organisations, community groups, industry bodies, training stakeholders and representative groups such as Industry Skills Advisory Councils (ISAC’s), on a regular basis. It is these sound relationships that enable Aurecon to deliver proficient solutions on each and every project we undertake.  Our Consultants are professionally accredited practitioners who have the relevant training, vocational qualifications and the professional experience.

How do I choose?

Delivery Options

This training provider offers courses in the following delivery modes:

Face to face training

In person training delivered at the RTO's site. Also known as 'on-campus' and 'in-class', 'traditional face-to-face', 'on-RTO-site' delivery.

Offsite training

We deliver in-person training on client-sites for efficiency and relevance in all remote and regional locations across Australia. Mobile trainers are used to deliver all training possible on site. When the trainer is not on site, technical experts are available via mail, telephone or email for any related support required by the Trainees. Training is delivered in blocks to minimise the need for trainees to be removed from employment for an extended period of time. Trainees complete on the job exposure components under the supervision of competent supervisors. We are known for our ability to respond and mobilise to any location with very short notice. Our services are available to clients 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Flexible learning

Includes online courses and courses by correspondence. Also known as 'external studies'. Where possible training material is tailored to incorporate community & client specific policies, procedures and proformas to marry training content with organisational specific requirements. A combination of RCC Assessment, on the job & off the job training supported by the use of workbooks, log books and email support of trainers are used to deliver learning outcomes.

  • Online (training available online or via email submission)

Mixed mode training

A combination of 'face to face' and 'on client site' delivery. May also include some distance learning for some courses.

Facilities

Aurecon has offices and training rooms in all capital cities across Australia. 

Mobile trainers are used to deliver all training possible on site. We deliver services in all remote and regional locations across Australia with 90% of our services are delivered to clients on-site, using client procedures and equipment.

Aurecon offers relevant, comprehensive, efficient and user friendly assessments against both qualifications and units of competency.

  • Recognition of prior learning (RPL) – in all areas of scope above
  • Recognition of current competency (RCC) – in all areas of scope above

Financial Assistance

The federal, state and territory governments provide financial incentives and support for vocational education and training students to help them gain the skills required to secure and maintain rewarding and sustainable employment.

There are programs for all kinds of students; apprentices and trainees, new job starters, those re-entering the workforce, retraining for a new job or upgrading their skills for an existing job.

Subsidised Training

State and Territory governments dedicate funds to reduce or, in some cases, fully cover tuition fees for VET students. VET Student Loans

This RTO does not currently offer VET Student Loans for any approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. Compulsory repayment threshold information is available on the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) website.
