Risk Response + Rescue (RR+R), founded in 1998 is a proudly 100% Australian owned national leader in Emergency and Risk Management Systems for high risk operations and environments including land, alpine, aviation, underground and maritime.  

Whether it’s developing customised emergency management plans and procedures, facilitating highly interactive training programs providing equipment or supplying emergency response personnel, RR+R are a single provider with a broad spectrum of experience and knowledge.

RR+R provide customised training facilitated by highly qualified and experience facilitators/subject matter experts/assessors who exceed the requirements of the VET sector’s standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations and bring real life experiences, skills and knowledge to your training experience.

RR+R focus on true performance of individuals and teams capitalising on time through highly practical and reaslistic application instead of tick box training.

How do I choose?

Delivery Options

This training provider offers courses in the following delivery modes:

Face to face training

In-person training delivered at the RTO's site and onsite. Also known as 'on-campus', 'in-class', 'traditional face-to-face', 'on-RTO-site' delivery.

Offsite training

The RTO can deliver in-person training using facilities at-or-near a client's workplace, or else in a mobile manner (eg. delivery at a regional/remote location for a specific period or for a specific training course). Also known as 'workplace', 'mobile', 'on-client-site' delivery.

Mixed mode training

A combination of various delivery modes. Also known as 'mixed delivery'. RR+R invests a lot of time and effort with Clients, Subject Matter Experts, Industry Associations and other relevant parties to develop the content used in the delivery of our programs. We aim to ensure the relevance of training to any Organisational protocols, procedure’s and/or associated documentation as well as relevant legislation. Where possible RR+R will incorporate any organisational documentation and/or relevant protocols or procedures as well as references to any applicable and relevant legislation in any learning and assessment material and delivery. Learning and Assessment is conducted through opportunities providing a mix of theory and practical training sessions conducted onsite or at a suitably identified premisis where an emphasis is placed on ‘learning and assessment through doing’.

To support this learning and assessment, RR+R's trainers/assessors and subject matter experts are operational and located throughout Australia, this enables RR+R to provide training Nationally.

We are equipped to conduct training onsite at client premises, offsite at specific locations and at our training facilities and utilise the most recent highly specialised equipment and worlds best practice resources across the broad spectrum of industries and operations we specialise in.

Financial Assistance

The federal, state and territory governments provide financial incentives and support for vocational education and training students to help them gain the skills required to secure and maintain rewarding and sustainable employment.

There are programs for all kinds of students; apprentices and trainees, new job starters, those re-entering the workforce, retraining for a new job or upgrading their skills for an existing job.

Subsidised Training

State and Territory governments dedicate funds to reduce or, in some cases, fully cover tuition fees for VET students. This Training Provider is approved to deliver subsidised training in the following highlighted states and territories. VET Student Loans

This RTO does not currently offer VET Student Loans for any approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. The amount for the 2018-2019 income year is $51,957.
