ACBC combines training in the classroom and hands on work experience and also offers programs through supported Online study.   Our Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses earn you credit points towards bachelor degrees at leading universities and our training philosophy of pairing study with work placement, delivers the relevant hands-on skills that employers are looking for. Delivery Options

This training provider offers courses in the following delivery modes:

Face to face training

Face to Face training at ACBC provides students with access to state of the art facilities and highly trained professional educators. This mode of delivery may also include some online delivery. Students participating in college based courses can access our unique work placement program. Practical industry-ready skills are the defining factor for getting into your chosen career. In-class training is important in laying theoretical foundations for entering industry. Yet there is no substitute for hands-on workplace experience for developing optimum employability. Modern workplaces have a life of their own. Our Work Placement initiative has been developed in partnership with industry professionals to reflect their workforce needs. Face to face training at ACBC enables students to access one to one learning support.

Offsite training

ACBC can deliver at employers' premises, community facilities and in schools. Programs can be customised to suit industry needs and delivered away from the main campus.

Flexible learning

ACBC offers an online training option for selected programs. Full details can be accessed at Online students are allocated a dedicated learning coach and high levels of support including regular access to trainers/coaches via email, telephone and video conference.

Mixed mode training

Some courses delivered by ACBC may be referred to as 'blended learning'. This mode involves a combination of online and face to face training.

Situated at the heart of Liverpool, stands our landmark educational facility. Our state-of-the-art Liverpool campus features 14 modern classrooms, private meeting rooms and central administrative offices. The dedicated student lunchroom is a popular gathering spot. Students have access to computer labs and laptops and all resources and support required for study.

This award-winning campus features a strong community spirit. A vibrant array of fundraising and charity initiatives are frequently underway. Liverpool Campus is renowned for quality education and student achievement. Liverpool students are frequent finalists in the NSW Training Awards. In addition, the campus has won the Liverpool City Local Business Award (Professional Services Category).

The campus is located a short walk from the Liverpool Train Station and is close to shopping, sporting facilities, medical facilities and entertainment. Westfield Liverpool is less than ten minutes walk from the campus.

At ACBC we customise support solutions to match your individual personal and learning needs. Our key support services include:

  • Dedicated campus support teams – receive impartial and confidential guidance and direction on a range of issues, including study skills, finance and more.
  • Professional trainers – get extra one-on-one study support from academic members of staff.
  • Careers Advisors – one-on-one appointments to help you research and plan your future career, and help you achieve a healthy study-work-life balance while implementing effective study habits. Our experienced Careers Advisors can guide students in study skills, planning and balancing study with other life commitments.
  • After Class Support – ACBC trainers stay back for one hour after each class to offer one to one support for students requiring extra support and assistance with their studies.
  • Student website – our secure student webpage delivers timely communication with your teachers and classmates via an open forum.
  • Community affiliate support – we have vast networks of external local services to help you handle any study or personal issues. Your Campus Manager or Careers Advisor can connect you with services that meet your needs.
  • ESL – Students whose first language is not English can be referred to structured tutorial support from experienced and qualified specialists in English as a Second Language (ESL).

Financial Assistance

The federal, state and territory governments provide financial incentives and support for vocational education and training students to help them gain the skills required to secure and maintain rewarding and sustainable employment.

VET Student Loans

This RTO can offer VET Student Loans for certain approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. The compulsory repayment threshold for the 2019-20 income year is $45,881.
