CTET is a small to medium-sized RTO, delivering quality Vocational Education and Training to South East NSW, the Australian Capital Territory, across Australia & the Pacific.

We take your education seriously and ensure you have “personal” contact throughout your training. We take a holistic approach to education, equipping our students with the necessary Knowledge, Skills and Application/Attitude to “be”, and perform successfully in your chosen vocations.

The greatest "investment" you can ever make in your life is in your own education.  Your education and training are foundations, so getting your foundations right, will enable you to continually build on them for the rest of your life.   


We set out to make our training and your learning relevant, current, fun and interesting, so that all our students enjoy learning.  We take even more care with any of our students that have learning challenges. Our trainers are all experienced and current in their industries as well as being good trainers. 

With all our students, CTET sets out to create and encourage a love of life-long learning, competence in your vocational fields and confidence in your life skills.

Delivery Options

This training provider offers courses in the following delivery modes:

Face to face training

We prefer face-to-face training, as this allows for learning interactions between the trainers & the group, & within the group. We make education & training enjoyable, so our first goal is to make students feel welcome & valued, "learn how-to-learn", & then love learning & be good at it. Each individual has life experience and knowledge to contribute, & therefore is a learning resource for the group. Knowing this, we create a positive learning environment, & guide each training group become it's own "learning community". Our training is contextualised to the needs of employers & students. We conduct internal & external audits, our trainers & management team are committed to ongoing learning and continual professional development. We provide specialised support, training & assessment for - Language and literacy - Numeracy - ICT & computer foundation skills - Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people - People with a disability - Other learning support

Offsite training

We deliver training at locations all over Southeast New South Wales. Wherever there are anough numbers to run a course, we either come to you, or have one of our carefully vetted local trainers deliver at a time and place that is convenient. We deliver practical training within organisations, using their training, meeting or boardrooms. We have delivered training to engineering and construction firms, hospitals, government departments, community service delivery organisations and many others. We also use the meeting rooms at local workers' clubs, or other RTOs we have arrangements with, bringing our training to a place near you.

Flexible learning

We deliver the Certificate IV in Workplace, Health and Safety in face-to-face mode, and also fully online. We use the lastest and best training package so that our students are not only able to deliver on their responsbilities, but feel confident that what they have learnt is relevant and up-to-date.

Mixed mode training

Where appropriate to the course content and objectives we use existing industry facilities that meet our high standards. Hairdressing is delivered in actual salons or specialist training rooms set up with all the latest equipment, and the same with our Hospitality training, where we have arrangements with leading motels, hospitals, aged care facilities and others across our region, to use their kitchen, catering and canteen facilites, training & meeting rooms or conference facilities.

Financial Assistance

The federal, state and territory governments provide financial incentives and support for vocational education and training students to help them gain the skills required to secure and maintain rewarding and sustainable employment.

VET Student Loans

This RTO does not currently offer VET Student Loans for any approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. The compulsory repayment threshold for the 2019-20 income year is $45,881.
