Its main campus is located in Wellington Fair, East Perth and is close to all public transportation. It is within walking distance to Perth city and restaurants entertainment precinct. APSI welcomes international and domestic Australian students on its campus. Programs and Workplace training

APSI offers an extra value for all the students who wish to look for a competitive edge in the Australian workforce. Our workplace training program includes work experience in a real working environment in aged Care, hospitality and businesses. Through the workplace training program, students will gain invaluable exposure to the Australian workplace culture and develop the necessary skills to find and keep a job in Australia and in their own countries.

We offer online courses in  Business and Management, Aged Care, Community Services and Hospitality. When students successfully complete their qualifications with APSI they will be ready for employment in their chosen Industry, with some courses providing a pathway into the Australian Higher Education sector.

How do I choose?

Delivery Options

This training provider offers courses in the following delivery modes:

Face to face training

All students are encourage to participate in our face to face campus in our main campus in Wellington Fair. Our courses are very practical oriented and students can practise their skills in a simulated environment. Students are required to attend face to face teaching for at least three full days per week with additional supervised studies time.

Offsite training

APSI can deliver offsite training at client's workplace. Most of the training programs can be customized to suit individual client's needs. APSI can offer a blended learning mode with part of the learning through face to face and e-learning.

Flexible learning

Most courses in business and hospitality areas are available via APSI's e-learning portal. Students can study the courses at their own pace from home and our trainers will communicate and coach them via our e-learning portal. Student can also choose a blend delivery option.

  • Online (training available online or via email submission)
  • Distance (training available via correspondence)
  • Attendance required (training includes some fixed-time online lectures or fixed time class components)
  • Fixed submission dates (assessment pieces have set submission dates)
  • Self-paced (training has no set class times of set submission dates)

    APSI can offer government subsidised training program through Priority Industry Training program. You must be an Australian citizen or PR to be eligible for government subsidised programs.

Mixed mode training

All training courses can be delivered via a mixed mode of face to face teaching and e-learning delivery. All training courses can be customized to meet your needs

Facilities

Australian Professional Skills Institute’s campus is conveniently located in East Perth, within walking distance to public transport and amenities and just 5 minutes walk to CBD Perth. APSI occupies four commercial units in Wellington Fair and a Function Centre on 21 Moore Street for hospitality training. All students have access to up-to-date computing equipment and simulated hospitality and aged care training facilities. Students also have access to free Wi-Fi, academic and personal counselling, student services, use of student common area, kitchenette facilities and outdoor courtyard.

Services

Financial Assistance

The federal, state and territory governments provide financial incentives and support for vocational education and training students to help them gain the skills required to secure and maintain rewarding and sustainable employment.

There are programs for all kinds of students; apprentices and trainees, new job starters, those re-entering the workforce, retraining for a new job or upgrading their skills for an existing job.

VET Student Loans

This RTO does not currently offer VET Student Loans for any approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. Compulsory repayment threshold information is available on the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) website.
