Given the critical nature of requirements for workers in rail and heavy industry, CERT ensures that where training is delivered at our various campauses, there is access to practical areas which reflect critical aspects of the workplace as required under assessment requirements set down by Commonwealth authorities.

Examples of facilities include rail corridor panels where students gain practical experience in track maintenance and construction.

CERT also partners with external organisations including enterprise and heritage rail organisations where students have the opportunity to particpate in actual industry projects as part of training and assessment.

As a result of these learning experiences, CERT graduates enter the workplace productive from day one.
