A White Card is a license required to enter construction sites in Australia. To obtain a White Card, you must complete the Unit of Competency CPCCWHS1001 - prepare to work safely in the construction industry with a registered training organisation (RTO).

While White Cards are issued on a State level, they are nationally recognised and you can use your QLD White Card for construction work across borders. White Cards do not expire in Queensland (subject to individual States).

White Cards have been known as Blue Cards in the past. WorkSafe Queensland calls the White Card course GCIT, or general construction induction training.
