Delivery Options

This training provider offers courses in the following delivery modes:

Face to face training

In-class TESOL programmes (face to face learning) are delivered at each of AVSE's three offshore training centres - Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Phnom Penh.

Offsite training

At Australian Vocational Skills and Education (AVSE) we understand that one size does not fit all. We are flexible and adaptable. We do our absolute best to meet the needs of our customers including delivering training services in regional, rural and remote locations.

Flexible learning

In addition to our 'signature' in-class training programmes, AVSE offers training programmes via an online study mode. The course material and units of competency that are covered in online training at AVSE, mirror what’s covered in our in-class programmes. Equally, the instructors who are engaged by AVSE to support trainees throughout an online course, are the same highly-qualified people who deliver our in-class courses.

  • Online (training available online or via email submission)
  • Attendance required (training includes some fixed-time online lectures or fixed time class components)

While the TESOL training programme at AVSE is the same in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Phnom Penh, the three cities are very different. Here’s a snapshot of each location.

Hanoi is the capital city of Vietnam. It’s vibrant and dazzling to the eyes, especially in the evening. There is something new to see in Hanoi - around every corner. Old French buildings from the colonial era are dotted around Hanoi and no matter where you go, there are local people selling all kinds of wares on the sidewalk. AVSE is located in Ba Dinh District in Hanoi, close to the city's famous 'old quarter'.

Ho Chi Minh City is the 'engine room' of Vietnam. It's big, noisy, densely populated and the traffic is horrific. Regardless, locals and visitors alike love the place. If quaint 'hole in the wall' coffee shops, markets, people-watching and places of historical importance are your thing, almost certainly you will also love Ho Chi Minh City. AVSE is located in Go Vap District in Ho Chi Minh City, immediately north of Tan Son Nhat International Airport..

Phnom Penh is a city on the move – at a rapid pace. It has emerged from a tragic, war-torn past to be an important centre for commerce and industry in Southeast Asia. In an overall sense, Cambodia has a level of economic growth that most countries can only dream about. Rich in history, there’s a lot to see and do in Cambodia. AVSE is located in the heart of Phnom Penh’s entertainment precinct on Street 172.

TESOL students at AVSE receive exactly the same high-quality, educational, immersive experience, inclusions and optional extras, regardless of where they choose to complete their training - Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City or Phnom Penh. Moreover, our TESOL students receive the same warm welcome from AVSE staff on the ground - and local people - at each of our three offshore locations.
