We comprise a team of health professionals with Registered Nurses, advanced degrees in the concerned course, and highly experienced trainers and assessors. We focus on delivering industry-updated practical skills that enable students to embark on a career in the industry and show a better job performance. We are committed to providing high-quality education for assistants in nursing, care staff and childcare workers in various settings such as residential aged care facilities, home and community care organisations, disability care organisations and childcare centres.

How do I choose?

Delivery Options

This training provider offers courses in the following delivery modes:

Face to face training

In-person training delivered at the RTO's site. Also known as 'on-campus', 'in-class', 'traditional face-to-face', 'on-RTO-site' delivery.

Offsite training

The RTO can deliver in-person training using facilities at-or-near a client's workplace, or else in a mobile manner (eg. delivery at a regional/remote location for a specific period or for a specific training course). Also known as 'workplace', 'mobile', 'on-client-site' delivery.

Flexible learning

Includes online courses and courses by correspondence. Also known as 'external studies'.

  • Online (training available online or via email submission)
  • Distance (training available via correspondence)
  • Attendance required (training includes some fixed-time online lectures or fixed time class components)
  • Self-paced (training has no set class times of set submission dates)

Mixed mode training

A combination of various delivery modes. Also known as 'mixed delivery'.

Facilities

Learners will have access to adequate training and assessment facilities and resources.  We are in place very close to public transport - a 2minutes walk from the Burwood train station. We have easy student access to toilets, parking, meal and drink facilities, a layout that facilitates student learning (display systems, data projectors) and we have all the infrastructure requirements of the unit as specified in the Training Package.

Besides that,  we have 

·         Hospital Bed so students can practice the basic fundamentals of sheet changing and client care while immobile, feeding and grooming and working either alone or either side of the bed in pairs.

·         A supply of sheets and bed covers for bed-making

·         Slide sheets

·         A range of personal care items including toiletry and grooming resources i.e. incontinence pads, bedpans, urine bottles.

·         Hand washing facility

·         Overbed table

·         A range of Mobility aids, including walking frames, walking sticks and wheelchair, shower chair.

·         Pelican belts

·         Mechanical Lifters

·         Fully Equipped Medication Trolley

·         BSL, blood pressure equipment; and among others

Aged Care Courses:

- CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)

- CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support

Disability Courses:

- CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)

- CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability

First aid and CPR: 

- HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

- HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support

- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

Financial Assistance

The federal, state and territory governments provide financial incentives and support for vocational education and training students to help them gain the skills required to secure and maintain rewarding and sustainable employment.

There are programs for all kinds of students; apprentices and trainees, new job starters, those re-entering the workforce, retraining for a new job or upgrading their skills for an existing job.

Subsidised Training

State and territory governments dedicate funds to reduce or, in some cases, fully cover tuition fees for VET students who wish to study certain courses.
Unfortunately, this Training Provider does not currently deliver any subsidised training.

VET Student Loans

This RTO does not currently offer VET Student Loans for any approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. Compulsory repayment threshold information is available on the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) website.
