How do I choose?

Delivery Options

This training provider offers courses in the following delivery modes:

Face to face training

Face to face training delivered at or near your workplace or at our Alstonville Training Centre. Also known as 'on-campus', 'in-class', 'traditional face-to-face', 'on-RTO-site' delivery.

Offsite training

NCA Training offers face to face training using facilities at-or-near a client's workplace, or else in a mobile manner (eg. delivery at a regional/remote location for a specific period or for a specific training course). Face to face workshops are also conducted regularly in our Alstonville Training Centre.

Facilities

Our Alstonville Training Centre has the full range of equipment to support fun, interactive learning in work at heights, first aid, safely working with and transporting chemicals, WH&S and a range of other courses. 

On-site toilets, kitchen and sunny courtyard for break-out groups, and plenty of parking, make this a wonderful place to develop new knowledge and apply new skills.

Services

Under the Standards for RTOs 2015, NCA Training works with potential students to determine their support needs and to provide access to educational and support services as necessary, so that students can meet the requirements of the course they are planning to enrol in. Examples of educational and support services that can assist students meet course requirements include:

  • additional study support and study skills programs if required
  • referral to a local language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) program
  • providing equipment, resources and/or programs to increase access for learners 
  • use of trained support staff including specialist teachers, note-takers and interpreters if required
  • flexible scheduling and delivery of training and assessment
  • the provision of learning materials in alternative formats.

Our friendly NCA Training team are all able to provide advice and information to students on the suitability of the course for your needs, any special physical or cultural requirements for the courses, what reasonable adjustments that can be made during training and the assessment process and specific support that may be available.

Financial Assistance

The federal, state and territory governments provide financial incentives and support for vocational education and training students to help them gain the skills required to secure and maintain rewarding and sustainable employment.

There are programs for all kinds of students; apprentices and trainees, new job starters, those re-entering the workforce, retraining for a new job or upgrading their skills for an existing job.

Subsidised Training

State and territory governments dedicate funds to reduce or, in some cases, fully cover tuition fees for VET students who wish to study certain courses.
Unfortunately, this Training Provider does not currently deliver any subsidised training.

VET Student Loans

This RTO does not currently offer VET Student Loans for any approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. The amount for the 2017-2018 income year is $55,874.
