Site Skills Training operates facilities in Western Australia (Perth), Northern Territory (Darwin), Queensland (Brisbane, Gladstone & Sunshine Coast), Philippines (Clark Freeport Zone) and Papua New Guinea (Port Moresby). Each of our training facilities can also provide commercial and corporate clients with flexible and efficient trainer deployment, essential for the delivery of quality skills training for industry.

Site Skills Training facilities are managed by teams with extensive Vocational & Educational Training experience. Our training courses are designed to assist individuals in the development of their jobs, career entry or employment opportunities. Site Skills Training also offers certificate courses in Occupational Health & Safety (Cert IV OHS) and Certificate IV Training & Assessment.

All of the courses offered at Site Skills Training are highly flexible with duration and dates. Site Skills Training courses are suitable for individuals seeking training to enter or advance in industry as well as for employers looking to up-skill employees.

How do I choose?

Delivery Options

This training provider offers courses in the following delivery modes:

Face to face training

In person training delivered at the RTO's site. Also known as 'on-campus' and 'in-class', 'traditional face-to-face', 'on-RTO-site' delivery.

Offsite training

Site Skills Training can deliver in-person training using facilities at-or-near a client's workplace, or else in a mobile manner (eg. delivery at a regional/remote location for a specific period or for a specific training course). Also known as 'workplace', 'mobile', 'on-client-site' delivery. Please note that in certain instances, client equipment is required for on site delivery - please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Flexible learning

Onsite and online training is availbale for a variety of courses.

  • Online (training available online or via email submission)
  • Distance (training available via correspondence)
  • Attendance required (training includes some fixed-time online lectures or fixed time class components)
  • Fixed submission dates (assessment pieces have set submission dates)
  • Self-paced (training has no set class times of set submission dates)

Services

Site Skills Training delivers a wide variety of short courses, high risk licences, certificates, non-accredited, and apprenticeship and traineeships in the energy, oil & gas, mining and construction industry.  Training is available via our six training facilities, on-site at client premises or remotely on projects throughout Australia.

Site Skills Training also has its own dedicated Online Learning division which offers a large number of high demand courses via our Online Learning Platform, Tempus.

Site Skills Training can accommodate on-site or facility based skills training of all courses for employers or group-training arrangements.  Further to the skilled and semi-skilled courses listed below, Site Skills Training can offer a range of skills training components of courses through train-to-task specialisation.

Financial Assistance

The federal, state and territory governments provide financial incentives and support for vocational education and training students to help them gain the skills required to secure and maintain rewarding and sustainable employment.

There are programs for all kinds of students; apprentices and trainees, new job starters, those re-entering the workforce, retraining for a new job or upgrading their skills for an existing job.

Subsidised Training

State and Territory governments dedicate funds to reduce or, in some cases, fully cover tuition fees for VET students. This Training Provider is approved to deliver subsidised training in the following highlighted states and territories. VET Student Loans

This RTO does not currently offer VET Student Loans for any approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. The compulsory repayment threshold for the 2019-20 income year is $45,881.
