Training Provider Summary

AICOL is a CRICOS registered institution, established in 1993 on the Gold Coast.  It has had the same owners, Jan and Garth Keppie, since opening.  AICOL core business is as an ELICOS college, delivering CRICOS registered courses to international students.  To deliver English language teacher training, which is a natural adjunct to English language teaching, AICOL became registered as a training organisation.

AICOL is a stable organisation.  It owns its school building free of any encumbrance, and operates its business on a positive cash flow basis without borrowings.  Its only students are full-fee paying, and AICOL has no Government funded students.

This training provider offers courses in the following delivery modes:

Face to face training

In person training delivered at the RTO's site. Also known as 'on-campus' and 'in-class', 'traditional face-to-face', 'on-RTO-site' delivery.

Facilities

AICOL has 15 classrooms, all air-conditioned and with a maximum of 15 students per class.  It is located in Stradbroke Plaza, which faces on to the new Southport Aquatic centre and overlooks the Southport Broadwater.  Australia Fair Shopping centre and the Gold Coast light rail are a 5 minute walk from our school.

Financial Assistance

The federal, state and territory governments provide financial incentives and support for vocational education and training students to help them gain the skills required to secure and maintain rewarding and sustainable employment.

Subsidised Training

State and territory governments dedicate funds to reduce or, in some cases, fully cover tuition fees for VET students who wish to study certain courses.
Unfortunately, this Training Provider does not currently deliver any subsidised training.

VET Student Loans

This RTO does not currently offer VET Student Loans for any approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. The compulsory repayment threshold for the 2019-20 income year is $45,881.
