Churchill Education is a registered training organisation based in Samford, Brisbane. We have been helping talented people from a variety of industries to achieve qualifications through Recognition of Prior Learning since 2006.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is an assessment method that turns your career experience into national qualifications. It means that you don't have to study what you already know. 

Our qualifications range from Certificate III and Certificate IV up to Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Graduate Diploma level (which is higher than a Bachelor's Degree). We have a wide range on our scope from Business, Leadership and Management, Project Management and Human Resources Management to Work Health and Safety, Security and Risk Management, Logistics and Government. 

We focus on making the RPL process as smooth and straight forward as possible, and provide our graduates with ongoing career advice and support through our Alumni community. 

We also deliver high-quality tailored programs to private customers and organisations. Previous clients have included the Department of  Agriculture and Fisheries, Department of Transport and Main Roads, Office of Industrial Relations, Downer Group and we continue to work extensively with ADF personnel.

Services

With over 17 years of experience in assessing and awarding qualifications through RPL, we are proud of the reputation we have built as an organisation with integrity and honour. Churchill Education was started when one of our co-founders, Randall Smith, left the Queensland Police Service, and sought qualifications through RPL to translate his skills, experience and training into civilian language. Randall was awarded his qualifications, but found the process time-consuming and frustrating. Together with his wife, Tricia Velthuizen, Randall began Churchill Education to offer a better, more streamlined and efficient RPL service. Over the years, Churchill Education has helped thousands of people from a range of industries get qualified, including Defence and Police personnel.

We also offer a range of training packages for staff in corporate roles, including group training in Government Investigations. We offer tailored training options to make sure the content of the programs we deliver and the mode of instruction is relevant, applicable and timely for the participants.

Financial Assistance

The federal, state and territory governments provide financial incentives and support for vocational education and training students to help them gain the skills required to secure and maintain rewarding and sustainable employment.

There are programs for all kinds of students; apprentices and trainees, new job starters, those re-entering the workforce, retraining for a new job or upgrading their skills for an existing job.

Subsidised Training

State and territory governments dedicate funds to reduce or, in some cases, fully cover tuition fees for VET students who wish to study certain courses.
Unfortunately, this Training Provider does not currently deliver any subsidised training.

VET Student Loans

This RTO does not currently offer VET Student Loans for any approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. Compulsory repayment threshold information is available on the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) website.
