The staff at The College of Health and Fitness have many years of experience in their chosen fields and have supported clients with general fitness goals, injury rehabilitation and even to win Olympic gold medals. We pride ourselves on being able to deliver award winning enjoyable courses, at affordable prices.

Tony Attridge, the College owner, has over 20 years of adult education experience teaching Health and Fitness subjects at Universities in Brisbane as well as various private Registered Training Organisations. In addition, he has over 25 years of practical experience with the health and fitness industry.

How do I choose?

Delivery Options

This training provider offers courses in the following delivery modes:

Face to face training

The College of Health and Fitness offers both full time and part time courses in Fitness and Business. Evening courses in Fitness are also available.

Flexible learning

The College of Health and Fitness offers flexible delivery via correspondence for Fitness students with full support as well as the opportunity to come in to the College if possible. Business students can study online, again with full teacher support and feedback.

  • Online (training available online or via email submission)
  • Distance (training available via correspondence)
  • Self-paced (training has no set class times of set submission dates)

    Students are given 12 months to complete their course with extensions available if required.

Facilities

The College of Health and Fitness main campus has two well fitted out classrooms as well as access to a number of nearby fitness facilities to ensure Fitness students get access to fully functioning commercial gyms and real clients.

Services

The College of Health and Fitness offers a range of Fitness and Business courses at Certificate III, IV and Diploma. It also offers First Aid and a range of professional development courses with new courses constantly being added. RPL and RCC are also available.

Financial Assistance

The federal, state and territory governments provide financial incentives and support for vocational education and training students to help them gain the skills required to secure and maintain rewarding and sustainable employment.

There are programs for all kinds of students; apprentices and trainees, new job starters, those re-entering the workforce, retraining for a new job or upgrading their skills for an existing job.

Subsidised Training

VET Student Loans

This RTO does not currently offer VET Student Loans for any approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. Compulsory repayment threshold information is available on the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) website.
