What are you looking for in your celebrant training? Are you looking for the best celebrancy course in Australia, a course that will provide you with professional and relevant celebrancy training, education and ongoing support? Look no further, for this is what The Celebrant Institute offers you.

With over 71% of Certificate IV in Celebrancy graduates feeling unprepared for their work as a marriage celebrant, I have designed a course that tackles that problem head on. My celebrant students will graduate with the confidence needed to stand in front of weddings and absolutely rock at what they do, while also being prepared to address the legal structures and requirements of being a Commonwealth Registered Marriage Celebrant.

As one of my valued students, you will receive support, information and inspiration all the way through. My students always have direct access to me through email and phone. I am a working celebrant and may not always be available to chat straight away, but if you leave a message, I will always call you back.

I will continue to support you after your studies, when you are facing the challenges of creating best practice ceremonies in the real world. You will be able to stay in touch with the other students you meet through the course. You will be encouraged to attend ceremonies (observing appropriate protocols), learn from your colleagues, and enrich each other by sharing experiences.

Your main trainer is me, Sarah Aird, CEO of The Celebrant Institute RTO, and I am widely regarded as the best celebrancy trainer in Australia. I have also commissioned videos from other celebrants and content experts around the country, with their tips and tricks for different aspects of celebrancy practice. I have a small team of trusted assessors who help me out with reviewing your assessment tasks, but they work to clear criteria that help them make consistent decisions the same way I would.

How do I choose?

Delivery Options

This training provider offers courses in the following delivery modes:

Flexible learning

Online learning courses are completed entirely from your own home, intakes starting every four weeks, with 12 months to complete the learning and assessment tasks.

  • Online (training available online or via email submission)
  • Self-paced (training has no set class times of set submission dates)

Financial Assistance

The federal, state and territory governments provide financial incentives and support for vocational education and training students to help them gain the skills required to secure and maintain rewarding and sustainable employment.

There are programs for all kinds of students; apprentices and trainees, new job starters, those re-entering the workforce, retraining for a new job or upgrading their skills for an existing job.

Subsidised Training

State and territory governments dedicate funds to reduce or, in some cases, fully cover tuition fees for VET students who wish to study certain courses.
Unfortunately, this Training Provider does not currently deliver any subsidised training.

VET Student Loans

This RTO does not currently offer VET Student Loans for any approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. Compulsory repayment threshold information is available on the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) website.
