We offer Nationally Recognised and Accredited Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, Certificate IV in Business Administration, Diploma of Accounting, Diploma of Leadership and Management qualifications as well as  MYOB Short Courses.

We offer Students both Skills First Government Funded Training opportunities as well as Fee Paying courses.

TBST offers truly professional, skills based training by working professional bookkeepers, accountants and business administrators. All courses provide complete MYOB training and include training in MYOB fundamentals, payroll and inventory and also include training in the advanced functions and features of the software. The MYOB software is also included with your enrolment.

TBST courses are trained by fully flexible distance learning via online training. This allows our students to better manage the demands or work, family and study. Course content and assessments build directly on and add value to our students work-based activities.

How do I choose?

Delivery Options

This training provider offers courses in the following delivery modes:

Face to face training

TBST combine Self-paced, Open Classrooms, Distance and Online Learning into each of our courses, so that students have the flexibility to choose the options that best suit their current situations. We offer the option to attend our Open Classroom Sessions. In these sessions students can avail themselves of our training room, with access to our Training and Assessment Team. The Training Room allows access to all the resources students will need for their courses.

Offsite training

TBST's nationally accredited and recognised qualification courses are delivered by Online Training via Flexible Distance Learning. All course material is provided to our students online via our Learning Management System (LMS). The LMS provides students with a more streamlined method of working through the qualifications by allowing them to login and access all current course files from one central location at a time and place of their choosing. The LMS has been designed to enable students to work through course units in sequential order, according to unit difficulty, concepts and prerequisites, as per their individual Training Plan. Students will always have access to the most up-to-date course content for all qualifications.

Flexible learning

TBST's nationally accredited and recognised qualification courses are delivered by Online Training via Flexible Distance Learning. We offer the option to attend our Open Classroom Sessions. In these sessions students can avail themselves of our training room, with access to our Training and Assessment Team. The Training Room allows access to all the resources students will need for their courses.

Facilities

We offer our students Online Distance Learning with the option to attend our Open Classroom Sessions. In these sessions students can avail themselves of our training room, with access to our Training and Assessment Team. The Training Room allows access to all the resources students will need for their courses.

We also have a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section on the LMS. If students have any questions these will also be answered, with our Assessment email address manned from 10am until 6pm weekdays (except Public Holidays).

Services

TBST RTO# 22341 - Our training is delivered flexibly, allowing students to better manage the demands of work, family and study. Our course content and assessments build directly onto and add value to participants' work based activities. Our Certificate IV students are trained in the use of the current version of MYOB as an integral part of their course and MYOB software is included in the course materials.

Distance Learning

We currently have Distance Learning to offer all students. When enrolled in Distance Learning we send students all course material, work books, software and manuals and a step by step guide so the student can work through the material at their own pace. Students have dedicated trainers who are Working Professional Bookkeepers, Accountants or Industry Professionals for student support and assistance as required.

Government Funded Training

TBST have been offered the opportunity by the Victorian and Federal Government to be one of the very few providers to offer Skill First Victoria Government Funded Training Courses and this saves students thousands of dollars off the usual course price. Eligibility for a Victorian Government subsidised place under the Victorian Training Guarantee is available if you live in Victoria, and you meet government's citizenship/residence requirements, and you meet the following criteria.

BAS Agent Registration

Our Certificate IV Bookkeeping and Accounting Qualifications provide students with the educational qualification required under the new BAS Services Provider Legislation. There are other requirements under the new legislation and the following link to the Tax Practitioners Board will assist with any questions you may have about the other requirements. Comprehensive MYOB Training

Students are fully trained in the use of the current version of MYOB as an integral part of this Certificate IV course as the MYOB accounting program is the leading and preferred software of choice of most business enterprises. Students will be trained in the MYOB fundamentals, MYOB payroll functions and features and receive training in the advanced MYOB techniques and features.

True Professional Bookkeeping, Accounting and Leadership and Management Skill Required By The Industry

Our qualifications incorporate substantial practical elements that will equip students with the necessary skills required to practice as a professional bookkeeper, accountant and manager as well as offering the BAS Agent Skill Set and Accounting Principals Skill Set. The course is delivered by flexible distance learning so you can study at home or work at your own pace and can be completed early.These qualifications are designed to reflect the roles of contract bookkeepers and employees performing bookkeeping tasks as well as accounting jobs and other industries requiring accounting support functions. The course also reflects the role of individuals who use well-developed administrative skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of administrative contexts.

Financial Assistance

The federal, state and territory governments provide financial incentives and support for vocational education and training students to help them gain the skills required to secure and maintain rewarding and sustainable employment.

There are programs for all kinds of students; apprentices and trainees, new job starters, those re-entering the workforce, retraining for a new job or upgrading their skills for an existing job.

VET Student Loans

This RTO does not currently offer VET Student Loans for any approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. The compulsory repayment threshold for the 2019-20 income year is $45,881.
