How do I choose?

Delivery Options

This training provider offers courses in the following delivery modes:

Flexible learning

Australis offers delivery of its course via our online training portal. This portal contains a range of learning materials and assessments providing students with the flexibility to study in their own time. The course online training is supported by a range of webinars, live chat, Skype and other methods including classroom and simulated role plays where appropriate. There may also be a component of Practical Assessment, which a student needs to undertake either at Australis or via work placement - this is based upon the specific course being undertaken.

  • Self-paced (training has no set class times of set submission dates)

Mixed mode training

Australis College provides training via classroom sessions, online self-paced study, or blended learning incorporating self-paced study with live interactive webinars. Our blended learning approach combines the flexibility of online learning with the practical support of face to face or live training via web tutorials, online forums, and interactive eLearning – all overseen by qualified Trainers and Assessors.

Facilities

Australis College Brisbane

Our primary campus and administration office is located in Brisbane, however, almost all courses are available online and we host live online workshops on a regular basis to assist students to better understand their course content and provide them with an opportunity to interact with their trainer and ask them questions.

Services

Australis College delivers a wide range of professional development courses as well as nationally recognised skill sets and qualifications from Certificate III through to Diplomas in Community Services & Counselling, and Information Technology.   

To aid with tuition fees, Australis College offers a range of flexible payment options including our unique Subscription/Per Subject model, loan schemes and subsidised training options. Eligibility criteria apply to some payment options.

Financial Assistance

The federal, state and territory governments provide financial incentives and support for vocational education and training students to help them gain the skills required to secure and maintain rewarding and sustainable employment.

There are programs for all kinds of students; apprentices and trainees, new job starters, those re-entering the workforce, retraining for a new job or upgrading their skills for an existing job.

Subsidised Training

State and Territory governments dedicate funds to reduce or, in some cases, fully cover tuition fees for VET students. This Training Provider is approved to deliver subsidised training in the following highlighted states and territories. VET Student Loans

This RTO does not currently offer VET Student Loans for any approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. Compulsory repayment threshold information is available on the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) website.
