White Card Brisbane

There are plenty of White Card training providers to pick from in Brisbane. At Tradie Training, we specialise in delivering the Brisbane White Card course and value learner satisfaction above anything else.

The course includes training, a written assessment, a verbal assessment and a demonstration component.

Our systems are custom built to deliver the general construction induction training. You will complete the course on a tablet that we provide, no paperwork required. The course is broken down into 4 performance criteria:

  • Identify health and safety legislative requirements of construction work
  • Identify construction hazards and risk control measures
  • Identify health and safety communication and reporting processes
  • Identify incident and emergency response procedures

Additionally, you will learn what common personal protective equipment (PPE) is used on worksites and when to reach for it. We will teach you how to properly fit and wear the following PPE:

  • Hard hat
  • Eye protection
  • Hearing protection
  • Retro-reflective vest

It will give you the knowledge required to know where and how to raise concerns in a proactive way.

You can view our reviews here.

How long does the course take?

The training package requires to course to be delivered between 4-6 hours. At Tradie Training, we find that running smaller classes improves the learning outcome, and as such our course typically takes 4h.

What to bring

The training is conducted in a indoor classroom with air-conditioning, so plain clothing is recommended. We will provide all the equipment (including PPE) required to complete the course.

You must bring 3 pieces of ID in order to be issued your White Card. The pieces of ID must display your name (Medicare Card, Debit/Credit Card etc). Additionally, at least one of them must display your photo (Driver's license, Passport etc).

White Card online

The general construction induction (White Card course) must be completed face-to-face with a qualified trainer in Brisbane and the rest of Queensland. While the QLD course used to be available online, Workplace Health and Safety QLD changed the delivery criteria in 2019, and the course can't be completed online anymore.

White Card Gold Coast

If you are located on the Gold Coast, you can complete your White Card course at our Ashmore training centre. It offers all the same great features such as free onsite parking, air-conditioning, onsite card printing etc. Located in proximity of a shopping centre, it has great public transportation options.
