Located in the fastest growing area of Melbourne, our Werribee Campus is a part of a modern technology precinct. The Werribee Campus is divided by Hoppers Lane, forming east and west areas. There are different facilities locted at each section of the campus. 

Our students and researchers at this campus make major contributions to the local and international scientific community.

Our Werribee campus is home to the Technology and Education Precinct, teaching courses in in carpentry, electrical and civil construction. The facility boasts a 'tunnel training simulator' as well as fully simulated work place training.

How do I choose?

Delivery Options

This training provider offers courses in the following delivery modes:

Face to face training

In-person training delivered at the RTO's site. Also known as 'on-campus', 'in-class', 'traditional face-to-face', 'on-RTO-site' delivery.

Offsite training

The RTO can deliver in-person training using facilities at-or-near a client's workplace, or else in a mobile manner (eg. delivery at a regional/remote location for a specific period or for a specific training course). Also known as 'workplace', 'mobile', 'on-client-site' delivery.

Flexible learning

Includes online courses. Also known as 'external studies'.

Mixed mode training

A combination of various delivery modes. Also known as 'blended delivery'.

VUHQ (Student Service Centre)
VUHQ is your first point of contact for assistance, advice and support as a student. Our opening hours change throughout the year to help meet your needs at busy times. Please note, the Werribee VUHQ only accepts EFTPOS payments.

Food options at Werribee
Enjoy a coffee and freshly made seasonal food at Werribee's VU Delight Cafe.

Osteopathy Clinic
Our Osteopathy Clinic offers therapeutic treatement for a range of problems. Osteopathy treatment may be helpful for back and neck pain, headaches and sporting injuries as well as for a range of other complaints. All Osteopathy treatments are now free for VU students and staff. Bring your student/staff ID card for your first visit, and we'll update our system so you receive free ongoing treatement.

Student lounges and learning spaces
VU has student lounges and informal learning spaces at all of our campuses, available to all students. The lounge at Werribee features a kitchenette, lounges, tables and chairs and power outlets.

Students and visitors can park in the P Ticket areas, using the Easy Park Phone App or paperless pay stations in the car park.

Child care and kindergarten
The Children's Centres at Victoria Univerity provide full-time or part-time care and education for children from three months to six years of age. We also offer a state-funded kindergarten program at each of our centres.

Werribee Health and Fitness Centre
We have a range of strength training and cardiovascular equipment, tennis and basketball courts and an athletics track.

Financial Assistance

The federal, state and territory governments provide financial incentives and support for vocational education and training students to help them gain the skills required to secure and maintain rewarding and sustainable employment.

There are programs for all kinds of students; apprentices and trainees, new job starters, those re-entering the workforce, retraining for a new job or upgrading their skills for an existing job.

Subsidised Training

State and Territory governments dedicate funds to reduce or, in some cases, fully cover tuition fees for VET students. VET Student Loans

This RTO can offer VET Student Loans for certain approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. The amount for the 2017-2018 income year is $55,874.
