Delivery Options

This training provider offers courses in the following delivery modes:

Face to face training

In person training delivered at our Brisbane Campus and on the Sunshine Coast. Full-Time Student: Face to Face In Classroom or Virtual Classroom Training Program This is the most time-efficient way to gain your Certificate of Competency. Students attend full time and are provided with the course timetable covering theory, practical training and exams conducted in class with written assessments and quizzes submitted via your student portal. This training program includes: A Trainer-led full-time classroom style of learning; Study support from our team of industry-experienced, highly qualified Trainers and instructors; A combination of in-class learning combined with practical skill application; Workplace learning activities (a Task Book completed in the workplace and authenticated by QMTS); Access to our online Student Learning Portal; Access to your trainer available via phone (Mon to Fri 0900 – 1700) or email and text (at any time) for additional support.

Flexible learning

Includes online courses and courses by correspondence / external studies blended with face to face. Distance Learning Training Program: Maritime Operation Course Study Option with Extra Learning Support. Our Maritime distance education training program offers students the flexibility to study where ever and whenever they can connect to the internet. This program incorporates self-paced and self-directed learning via access to our online student portal; Online Training (including group workshop webinars and training sessions to facilitate one-on-one training); and Workplace learning activities (a Task Book completed in the workplace and authenticated by QMTS). All students have access to their own trainer available via phone (Mon to Fri 0900 – 1700) or email and text (at any time) for additional support. The opportunity to attend scheduled face to face workshops held by our Trainers throughout the year in Brisbane.

Financial Assistance

VET Student Loans

This RTO does not currently offer VET Student Loans for any approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. The amount for the 2017-2018 income year is $55,874.
