Training Provider Summary

Footscray Park is the oldest and largest of our campuses. It has fantastic facilities and offers a great lifestyle for students.

The campus is next to parklands along the Maribyrnong River and looks over Flemington Racecourse. Footscray is Melbourne’s multicultural hub, and is only 10 minutes by train from the city. The campus is a short walk from Footscray Station.

The village-like campus has everything from restaurants and cafes to world-class sports science facilities, state-of-the-art lecture theatres and learning commons, and an aquatic & fitness centre.

Facilities

Our sport and fitness students have access to Footscray Park campus' world-class Aquatic and Fitness Centre which features indoor sports courts, fully equipped gyms, an athletes track and indoor pool.

Massage students learn at our multi-milion dollar Sport and Recreation Learning Centre at Victoria University Whitten Oval Stadium (home of the Western Bulldogs), where they work with the players and manage the massage clinic.

Our Footscray Park campus houses a range of services, including:

VUHQ (Student Service Centre)​​
VUHQ is located in Building M. Our opening hours change throughout the year to help meet your needs at busy times. Please note, no more than $500 cash can be accepted.

Child care and Kindergarten
The Children's Centres at Victoria University provide full-time or part-time care and education for children from three months to six years of age. We also offer a state-funded kindergarten program at each of our centres.

Footscray Park Aquatic and Fitness Centre
The centre has a 25m pool, fully equipped gym, indoor courts, dance and exercise studios.

Food options
You've got lots of dining choice at Footscray Park Campus, from cafes, bars and noodle bars.

Student lounge and learning spaces
VU has student lounges and informal spaces at all of our campuses, available to all students, with access to WiFi and power.

Parking
Students and visitors can park in the P Ticket areas, using the Easy Park phone app or paperless pay stations in the car park.

Security
Our Security Operations Centre is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Bicycle hubs
A special bicycle hub is located at Footscray Park campus.

Financial Assistance

The federal, state and territory governments provide financial incentives and support for vocational education and training students to help them gain the skills required to secure and maintain rewarding and sustainable employment.

VET Student Loans

This RTO can offer VET Student Loans for certain approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. The amount for the 2017-2018 income year is $55,874.
