The Echuca Campus of Bendigo TAFE is a hub of community based industry partnerships and activities, aimed at providing a skilled workforce for the local community. Bendigo TAFE offers a range of certificate, diploma and advanced diploma courses, including apprenticeships and traineeships. We also have a number of short courses available, so there’s something to suit everybody.

Library services are available to students at all Bendigo TAFE campuses and correction centres. Kickhams Mill Training Restaurant Bendigo TAFE operates a fully licensed restaurant and function centre at the Echuca Campus.

Apprenticeship support officers provide support for apprentices, aged 15 to 24, in the first year of their apprenticeship. Apprenticeship field officers investigate disputes between apprentices or trainees and employers including workplace violence, harassment and other matters. A careers and welfare counsellor is available to assist prospective and current students at all campus locations. A counsellor is available at all campuses of Bendigo TAFE to help students work through issues, including stress, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, study issues, and acts of violence. Disability support program to enable people with disabilities to participate fully in their study and work at TAFE. Youth workers are available to speak to young people (aged 15 to 24) about a wide range of issues they may be facing which could be impacting on their studies. Koori Liaison Officers (KLOs) provide support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

Financial Assistance

The federal, state and territory governments provide financial incentives and support for vocational education and training students to help them gain the skills required to secure and maintain rewarding and sustainable employment.

VET Student Loans

This RTO can offer VET Student Loans for certain approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. The amount for the 2017-2018 income year is $55,874.
