Formerly home to the Infectious Diseases Hospital (closed in 1996), Melbourne Polytechnic took over the grounds in 2004 and moved its Horticulture program across from Parkville, making it Melbourne Polytechnic’s second largest campus (over 2,000 students). Don’t forget to say hello to the peacocks roaming the grounds!
