This is the place to start if you’ve always wanted a career in the dynamic and growing industry of Aviation. We provide multiple pathways in the Aerospace fields of Aeronautics (Pilot Studies), Flight Operations (Cabin Crew), Airline/Airport Management, or Aeroskills (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering). Our AeroSpace Training Centre (ASTC) builds on over 50 years of experienceto provide training for students wanting to embark on careers within the commercial airlines, airport operations, aircraft maintenance or cabin crew. The ASTC’s programs are tailored to give you a solid understanding of the practices and requirements of the Aviation Industry in regards to Aeroskills, Aeronautics, and Airport/Airline Management. We enable our graduates to be well equipped with the knowledge and skills you need to excel in today’s job market.

Face to face training

In person training, also known as 'on-campus' and 'in-class'.

Facilities

Located at Perth/Jandakot Airport (YPJT), the AeroSpace Training Centre comprises two distinct facilities, one which includes a 1,500 square metre hangar facility that houses a variety of aircraft including our very own operational Boeing 737. Our Boeing 737 is maintained in a fully serviceable condition and used as a non-flying static training facility for students in many of the training courses from Pilot Studies to Cabin Crew to Aircraft Maintenance, and even Safety and Ground Handling. Other ASTC facilities and training devices available for students include additional fixed wing and rotorcraft static trainers, a campus library, Learning Resource Centre with computer and wireless internet resources, computer based training modules and a flight simulator.

Financial Assistance

The federal, state and territory governments provide financial incentives and support for vocational education and training students to help them gain the skills required to secure and maintain rewarding and sustainable employment.

VET Student Loans

This RTO can offer VET Student Loans for certain approved courses. A VET Student Loan is a capped loan from the Australian Government to help you pay your tuition fees. Your initial loan debt amount (loan and loan fee, if applicable), plus indexation, must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. The amount for the 2017-2018 income year is $55,874.
