What is My Skills?
My Skills website is the national directory of vocational education and training (VET) organisations and courses. It is an Australian Government initiative to enable consumers to search for, and compare, VET courses and training providers.
Vocational education and training (VET) is designed to help you get the skills you need to enter and succeed in the workplace. VET is not just about traditional trades; it encompasses hundreds of different occupations and industries.
Two projects are underway to review qualifications, skill sets and units of competency for the seafood and aquaculture industry. Skills Impact is seeking industry feedback on the current and existing qualifications, skill sets and units that will be reviewed as part of each project.
In 2018, the Australian VET Research Association (AVETRA) in partnership with the VET Development Centre (VDC) and the Victorian TAFE Association (VTA), will hold Australia’s first VET Practitioner Research Conference.
